Porter Weeks - Principal Designer

With almost 20 years of experience in the landscape field, Porter commands a firm grasp of the relationship between design and implementation. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture which he earned from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Porter has the unique skill set of being able to provide unique and creative design solutions and completely understand the build process to be able to make the designs a reality. With an extensive knowledge of plant and hardscape material he develops ideas that are appropriate for seasonal New England that will stand the test of time. This knowledge is also backed by a firm understanding of how landscapes evolve over time and the necessary management stratagies that allow for design ideas to become and stay successful.

Brittany Weeks - Principal Designer

With over 20 years of experience in the green industry, Brittany brings a wide range of skill sets and talents to Highland Design. She earned a combined Associates Degree at The Stockbridge School of Agriculture and a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Her strength is being able to successfully conceptualize and design solutions for challenging and complex projects. Brittany has extensive knowledge of the technical planning process, specifically shoreline and wetland permitting. This translates into the ability to collaborate with architects, civil engineers, surveyors, interior designers, and implementation teams which ensures the success of any design.
